Shampoo & Conditioner Additives for Softer & Shinier Hair? Yes!

Shampoo Can Soften Hair! Conditioner Can Make Hair Shinier!

Hey hairoholics,

Sorry if I haven't been posting lately, school has just started for me and my first exams are in one month so I need to get back to work! Today I share two recipes that are meant to be used with shampoo and conditioner to make your hair softer and shinier. Let's get started!

*Disclaimer*

All opinions are my own. I was not paid to rave about any products and I never am.  :)

Softer Hair With This Shampoo Additive!

Orgnx Coconut & Macadamia Oil Shampoo is always in my shower because I find that when I use it with my special ingredient it softens my hair very well. The trick for softer hair is to minimize damage, chemicals, heat and sulphates while maximizing natural oils and moisturizers. The recipe below is the one I mix in with my shampoo to make my hair softer. You may use this recipe with your current shampoo as well, but I find that it works extra well with this particular organic shampoo.

Shampoo Additive for Softer Hair!

2-4 tbsp. of almond or argan oil
mixed in with 4 tbsp. of Orgnx Coconut & Macadamia Oil Shampoo ( all depending on hair length)

Shampoo your hair as usual and rinse with lukewarm water.

Conditioner Additive for Shinier Hair!

Shiny hair is always a problem for people with colored/bleached hair. Most people want shiny hair, but their hair care habits are too rough. To get shiny hair we need to smoothen the hair cuticle so it reflects light. Rough brushing, sulphates in shampoos, heat tools for styling hair and frequent hair dyes or color treatments all make hair dull, dry and definitely not shiny! Taking proper care for your hair and using this conditioner additive may help you as it has helped me. For this recipe you need only two things, a conditioner (I obviously like and recommend this one) Orgnx Coconut & Macadamia Oil Conditioner, and olive oil. Olive oil is a natural moisturizer and repairing oil, careful not to use too much though because your hair can get greasy!

Shiny Hair Conditioner Additive Recipe!

2-3 tbsp. of olive oil
mixed in with 4 tbsp. of Orgnx Coconut & Macadamia Oil Conditioner (all depending on hair length)

After conditioning, rinse your hair with cold water to seal your hair cuticle and add extra shine. You may also wish to rinse your hair with some old beer (yes it adds shine!) or some apple cider vinegar for extreme shine, although this is optional.

Thanks for your views! I hope I am helping someone out there.  Please leave a comment. I will have a skinoholics post up soon but for now I am quite busy.
